Our Business
Since 1991, Valley Curbing Ltd. has grown to be the Okanagan’s largest commercial Curbing and Sidewalk contractor. Valley Curbing employees more than twenty skilled trades persons, and actively hires young individuals, providing them the tools and skills needed to be successful in the concrete industry. The company’s owners take an active part in managing the company with a combined 100+ years of experience.
Valley Curbing currently uses and operates a series of Gomaco slip form curb machines, which provide cost effective and efficient means of placing various profiles of Curbs and Gutters. In addition to the Gomaco curbing machines, VCL also uses smaller on-asphalt Miller formless curb machines, uniquely designed to provide slip form parking lot and island curbing, without the need for costly forming.
When slip form machines are not required, the company uses a specialized metal framing system, as well as a wood framing system, allowing Valley Curbing to provide a level of unparalleled production and service to better suit their client’s needs.
Our Community
Valley Curbing prides itself in being a prominent member of the community. Aside from donations to various charities throughout Kelowna and the Okanagan, they sponsor local sports teams and restaurants. Taking an active role in local small business, Valley Curbing has been a Kelowna Chamber of Commerce member since 2015 and is currently part of the CFIB.
Our Team
As with any successful company, you’re only as good as good as your people. At VCL, our three owners offer over 100 years of experience, our extruder operators offer over 50 combined years, and our foremen are young, motivated, and very successful.
